"Through the years I have had the opportunity to try and use many brands of water-housings. I have experimented with many systems and many materials. For the past 10 years I have been using Liquid Eye water-housings and I am completely hooked. They have the best systems ever. Liquid Eye’s housings are lightweight, strong, and there are a multitude of add-on features that are available. The zoom control and the pistol grip systems are amazing, they help me to push the limits of my water photography. The service is great too, a perfect combo!"

Philippe beening so on to his game I know that I will never have a problem with these housing and that I can get anything I need quickly, which in my job is a bonus. I highly recommend this housing and with the team we have you can see with the names of the photographers using them that these waterhousings are one of the best around"

Jason Childs

Veteran surf photographer Jason Childs has been shooting the best surfers and waves in Indonesia as long as anyone in the game. The Surfer magazine staff photographer has been based in Bali now for over 15 years.
Since 1985, his highly regarded surf photography has been seen worldwide in every major surf magazine including Surfer, where he is currently a staff photographer. Jason is one of the most published photographers in surfing. The 40-year-old is a specialist in water and outdoor photography. He considers the beach to be his office and the ocean his studio.
Jason’s 10-year background as a photojournalist at The Age newspaper in Melbourne, Australia has given him a solid foundation in all aspects of editorial work with a focus on sports photography. He travels the world on assignment shooting advertising, corporate and editorial campaigns.

"The Liquid Eye water-housings are made by a photographer! Philippe is a bloody good photographer and knows what we need to get the best job done. He respects his craft and handcrafts the housing to professional quality. He's always looking to improve the housings and move with the Digi Photo Age. The beauty of these housings are the lightness and strength combined with being really comfortable to hold in the water. It's good to have faith in the housings that you are putting your expensive babies in! Nothing sucks more than drowning a camera and lens due to a leaky housing!"

Jason Reposar

Jason Reposar began his surf photography career in September 1999 in the Ventura / Oxnard area of Southern California. His regular crew of surfers that he photographed were Dane Reynolds, Tim & Nathaniel Curran, Bobby Martinez, the Malloy brothers and Tom Curren. It was his unique eye and relentless drive that landed him a senior staff position at Transworld Surf magazine in October 1999 and lasted for the next 10 years. Jason now spends his time between Bali, Australia and London shooting fashion, music and surf photographs for clients and editorials worldwide.

"At the end of the day I want security and simplicity. With my Liquid Eye set up, I have the security in knowing that my camera gear is safe, fully functional and can take a slight bang without busting up on me. I also love the fact that I haven't lost a screw or mis-theaded a port since I've been using it. It's a perfect system for me. It's idiot proof!"

Jason Wolcott

Born in Los Angeles in 1975 Jason Wolcott, like his photographic art is a product of his eclectic environment whilst growing up among the different regions of California.
Jason studied photography under Jan Peterzak, a former assistant of renowned photographer, Ansel Adams, and Bill Hendricks, a professor at the Brooks Institute of Photography.
As a photographer Jason has experienced success personally and professionally while his love of the ocean has inspired his craft. While his subject matter is diverse he draws from his 20 years as a waterman and affinity for the ocean to evoke an emotional response to his photographs; his understanding of wind, light, and waves assist in conveying a unique impression, which he achieves with the use of slow shutter and speed photography.
Jason has since applied his ideas to a scope of work that range from the mystic to the modern. His work can be found hanging on the walls of galleries, the homes of celebrities and in countless publications all over the globe.

"Liquid Eye water-housing system will become and integral part of your photographic process. Light weight, strong, and elegant. I could not ask for more with a water-housing system."

Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith was born in 1973 in Australia and lives on the northern braces of Sydney in Newport. He was first introduced to surfing at the age of seven, and he also became interested in photography at a young age as well. He took up surfing professionally for a while and he did fairly well in a few surfing competitions, travelled a lot and beat a few of the names that he now shoots from time to time. When he was 21 Nathan suffered an injury that prevented him from continuing his professional surfing career and so he shifted his focus from surfing to photography. He bought a proper camera kit and moved to Sydney where he began pursuing a career in fashion photography, but the 'surf photo thing' slowly took over and he hasn’t stopped since. Nathan is a regular contributor to Tracks magazine in Australia and works for many other publications worldwide as well as many surf related brands.

"I have been successfully using Liquid Eye water-housings for a few years now and totally recommend them to anyone that wants an easy to use small light weight glove fitting housing. The two stage trigger and zoom lever for longer lens use is also a great feature."

Philippe Chevodian

Philippe Chevodian started his journey in photography in the mid 80’s. After completing photography studies at a university in France, Philippe flew to California and then drove down to mainland Mexico on his first major wave search as a photographer. From this initial trip he returned with his first published magazine work and thus began to collaborate with the major surf magazines in France and Europe.

Thanks to his photographic talent and his water photography skills, he rapidly ascended to the position of senior photographer for a French windsurf magazine, a collaboration that lasted for 7 years. During this period most of Philippe’s time was spent traveling the world to remote locales in search of new spots, and wintering on the North Shores of Maui and Oahu, something he continued to do for 18 seasons. Over the years his shooting and traveling experiences have made Philippe a uniquely qualified designer for Liquid Eye waterhousings.

“I ordered my first housing in 1985 from the famous Dale Kobetich, it was for a Nikon FE2 with the power booster. It was necessary to modify it to accept different lenses to get the images I was after and it was this modification work that inspired me to begin building my own waterhousings. As an assignment photographer traveling to remote locations I know how important it is to have reliable, lightweight, compact and mutli-functional gear. When I design a housing or an accessory, I always keep in mind my travel experiences as a water shooter, and I integrate that experience into the design of Liquid Eye - the best waterhousing system available on the market.”
